Call for participants: what changed when your work or learning left the building?
October 2026
We are seeking research participants for upcoming publications on distributed work and distributed learning.
We want to hear from remote and hybrid professionals; managers of distributed teams; teachers, professors and instructional designers; students and adult learners studying online or hybrid; and people who went back to the office or campus, as well as people who never will. Skeptics are as welcome as advocates. The publications are about what actually happened, not about whether remote work is good or bad.
What taking part involves: one conversation of about 45 minutes on Zoom, at a time that suits you. With your permission it is recorded and transcribed so your words are captured accurately. We may follow up once to check a fact or a quote. Participants must be 18 or older.
How you are protected: you are quoted under a pseudonym unless you choose otherwise, and identifying details are changed or left out. You can review your quotes before anything is published. Recordings are never published and are deleted after publication. Taking part is voluntary and unpaid, and you can withdraw up to 30 days after your quote check.
Please do not share confidential information about your employer or private details about other people. This is an independent project of Futures Change Laboratory, not a university study.
To take part, register on the research page and review the consent information. Questions go to hello@futureschangelab.com.
